The Istiftā’ is on behalf of Dr.Ilyas Faisal Abdul Ghani.
Answer
Most of these views, if reported to us correctly, break the theological consensus of Ahlus Sunnah wa l-Jama’ah. Some of the most heretical positions mentioned here include the universality of Islam, the denial of the authority of the Sunnah, the denial of the qirā‘at, and the beliefs on Isa (peace be upon him), Imam Mahdi and many of the beliefs regarding the last Day.
Take the belief in Isa (peace be upon him) as an example. The Qur’an has told us explicitly, in many passages, that Isa (peace be upon him) has not been killed, but instead, Allah has raised him to the Heavens. The Qur’an (4:157-8) says:
And for their saying, “We have certainly killed the Masih ‘Isa the son of Maryam, the Messenger of Allah”, while in fact they did neither kill him, nor crucify him, but they were deluded by resemblance. Those who disputed this matter are certainly in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it, but they follow whims. It is absolutely certain that they did not kill him. But Allah raised him towards Himself. Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise.
The Qur’an is explicit in what took place, and to disbelieve in such a clearcut verse amounts to disbelief. One who propagates these positions is misguided and must be avoided. The Fatwa from Darul Uloom Karachi, which is linked from the document you provided, is sufficient in cementing the positions of Ahlus Sunnah against some of the most egregious claims.
