Assalamu Alaikum MuftiSaheb Trust you are well with Allah’s grace. I find your bayaans very beneficial. With regard to your bayaans on the above topics what mentality should I adopt as a salaried employee? Obviously i dont see daily fluctuations like a businessman so I dont get to “feel” as much in terms of increase in rizq/barakah until i pay all my bills or get my salary.

In the name of Allah, the Inspirer of truth

Having barakah (blessings) in ones wealth does not necessarily mean that the total income of a person will increase, nor does the absence of blessing mean that the total income of a person will decrease. It is possible that onemight not see an actual increase, even though their wealth does have blessing in it.
There are some signs which could potentially be indicators of blessing in wealth; however, these are not absolute and definitive. Only Allah would truly know how much blessing there is in wealth. Some of these signs could be that a person feels content with what they have; their wealth suffices them and fulfils their needs and they do not feel like they are constantly on the search for more. The Prophet  has mentioned:
"Richness is not the abundance of wealth, rather it is self-sufficiency."
Richness and barakah is not in having a lot of wealth, rather, if a person feels content with what they have, this is from amongst the signs of having blessings in wealth. However, as mentioned above these are not definitive signs, hence it is possible that a person who has no blessing in their wealth, may also feel the above.
Similarly, not being content with how much a person has and not being able to meet costs and expenses could be signs that a person has no blessing in their wealth, however, it is also possible that a person has wealth which is blessed but Allah wishes to test them through various challenges.
One should try their best to ensure that their income is lawful and carry out those actions which draw blessings; such as giving in charity and praying to Allah that He blesses the wealth and protects it.

And Allah knows best
