Salam
I have received clothes as gifts from family and friends for my children. I do not allow my daughters to wear clothing with animate pictures on them. What should I do with those clothes? Can they be given to charities?
Can they be gifted to other people? Should they merely be thrown away?

Answer

If the clothes feature a large image of an animate being, where the image becomes the primary focus of the item of clothing, then you should dispose of those items.

If the image is small and can be removed, covered, or modified to resemble a non-animate image, then you should do so. After modifying the image, you are free to sell or gift the item. However, selling or gifting the item without removing the image is valid but disliked and should be avoided. Therefore, if you are unable to modify the item, we would advise disposing of it.
