Question
if one person followed the schoolar opinion that if anywhere in earth a muslim saw a moon they should obserbe eid and didn’t fast that day, where all other people in that area fasting according to the board of moon sight who follow different opinion if we didn’t see moon in our country, we are not observing eid.
Does he needs to kada that fasting
Answer
If there are other Muslims within your area who also follow the opinion you have adopted and collectively you all carried out Eid a day earlier then there would not be a need to make up one fast. If you chose to keep one fast out of caution this would also be valid.
On the other hand, if you abstained from fasting by yourself and the rest of your area was united in completing 30 days of fasting then you should start and end Ramadan with the Muslims in your area. If you did not then you should keep one extra fast to make up for the missed fast.
