My role will be to help customers who have booked a package and any queries they may have, for example they may ask what time is alcohol served or what type of entertainment does a hotel offer….etc…just some possible scenarios.
Also to mention I do have a different job at present but looking to go ahead with this one if safe to do so, within halal boundaries.

Answer

It mentions in the job description that the objective of the role is to maximise sales and revenue opportunities. This indicates that you will be playing a key role in promoting all aspects of the holiday that will increase revenue whether lawful or unlawful in Islam. For example, you will be informing customers as to when alcohol will be served, what type of entertainment a hotel offers and how to access it. This will not be permissible and will be considered directing towards sinful acts, which in and of itself is not permissible.

For this reason, we would advise you to stay in your current role and not to take this role on.
